The HelpLine is a UK registered charity. It is essentially a Jewish Samaritans where the trained volunteers understand the cultural issues surrounding daily Jewish life (e.g. Mikva, yeshiva, Israel etc).
The HelpLine, is open 24/7, including on Shabbos and Yomtov, and offers a safe, confidential and anonymous space for anyone to call at any time without fear of being judged. Over 100 specially trained volunteers located in 6 countries around the world offer Jewish appropriate support via phone and/ or text. Calls are received from throughout the whole of the UK, in particular from London, Manchester and Gateshead. Chats via WhatsApp can be made from outside the UK.
If you are struggling or you know someone who needs the services of the HelpLine please get in touch
The HelpLine has grown exponentially and is now receiving an average of 1500 calls/texts a month, with an estimated 25% of them new callers. That’s around 4,500 new callers every year!
Although we all know someone who has or is struggling with their Mental Health, there is still taboo around the subject. There’s a strong chance that someone you know is currently using, or will be using our service.
