Israel extend the rules post-Booster
extended until May 31 2022
update 10/02/22 from Yad L'Olim
The Israeli Ministry of Health has decided that anyone who has a booster shot can enter Israel until May 31, 2022, even if 180 days have passed since the booster. (The 180 day rule still applies after a second dose). You can still only fly 14 days after the shot, and all rules regarding pre and post flight testing and the entry form remain
PLEASE MAKE YOUR OWN ENQUIRIES BEFORE MAKING TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS AS RULES ARE CONSTANTLY CHANGING
Get a negative PCR test within 72 hours of departure to Israel or a negative lab-based antigen within 24 hours of departure to Israel. (You are exempt from this requirement if you have a digital recovery certificate to show from between 11 days and 3 months before your flight.)
Quarantine: You may quarantine at home. Quarantine period is until you receive your negative PCR back from Ben Gurion Airport or when 24 hours has past - whichever comes first.
WARNING: 10% of passengers arriving in Israel have been testing positive for Corona. When this happens you must go into quarantine for ten days and the authorities are very strict about this. Please take this into account when deciding to fly to Israel during this time period. Additionally, recently recovered Corona patients may continue to test positive upon arrival at Ben Gurion. If this happens to you, please be aware that you must apply for release from quarantine and it can take time and effort and longer to secure that release.
If you have questions or need guidance please go to yadlolim.org, complete the form on the homepage, choose corona travel, and ask our team for guidance.
PLEASE NOTE: All of this is subject to sudden changes and we will update you immediately if there are any changes.
Also, please note that if you are in the Aliyah process, please contact Nefesh B’Nefesh (for North America) or the Jewish Agency for information about your flights.
