This course includes 4 practical sessions of 1½ hours each.
Each session has 2 time options.
 
Session 1: “Let’s get Ready for Reading”
What children need to know before they start reading letters.
 
Time Option 1: Sunday 17th January – ד' שבט                  
10am-11:30am (NY Time) i.e. 3pm-4:30pm (UK)
 
Time Option 2: Wednesday 20th January – שבט ז'
2pm -3:30pm (NY Time) i.e. 7pm-8:30pm (UK)
 
Session 2: “Taking ownership of the Alef Beis”
How do children make Alef Beis theirs’?
 
Time Option 1: Sunday 24th January – י''א שבט
10am-11:30am (NY Time) i.e. 3pm-4:30pm (UK)
 
Time Option 2: Wednesday 27th January – י''ד שבט
2pm -3:30pm(NY Time)  i.e. 7pm-8:30pm (UK)
 
Session 3: “Learning is Fun”-
Games, songs, dances and activities.
 
Time Option 1: Sunday 14th February – ב' אדר
10am-11:30am (NY Time) i.e. 3pm-4:30pm (UK)
 
Time Option 2: Wednesday 17th February – ה' אדר
2pm-3:30pm (NY Time) i.e. 7pm-8:30pm (UK)
 
 
Session 4: “Am I on track?”
Assessment and progress.
