Covid-19 Barnet Weekly Report 06/04/21
Average cases per day have stabilised at around 15 per day
Average cases per day have stabilised at around 15 per day.
Test positivity in the community has increased to 1.3%.
When full test data is available, the infection rate per 100,000 population is likely to be around 28 for the last 7 days. This is around 2 per 100,000 population lower than the 30 per 100,000 population seen in the previous week.
Hospital admissions have fallen slightly to around 1 per day. On the 1st April there were 53 people in beds at the Royal Free with COVID-19 of them 22 required Mechanical Ventilation.
Cases have decreased in those aged 10-19 but have increased in those aged 0-9 which may reflect increased testing.
Burnt Oak, Childs Hill, Colindale, Hendon & West Hendon wards seem to be consistently around or above the Barnet average rate per 100,000 population.
The rate per 100,000 population in Barnet is now broadly similar to the London rate of 27.0 which has also seen a decrease on the previous week.
