Some walk-in clinics are now offering booster vaccinations to health and social care workers, and residents aged 50 and over. Please note, there needs to have been at least a six month gap since you had your second COVID jab.

Further details can be found in the list below. Please note the information here is subject to change, please check this list before you leave, to avoid disappointment.

Second doses can be given 8 weeks after the first dose. Please do not come for your second dose if it has been less than 8 weeks (56 days) since your first dose as staff will not be able to vaccinate you.

Please note we cannot vaccinate you if you have tested positive for coronavirus within the last four weeks or if you have any symptoms of coronavirus. Please do not attend the vaccination centre if you have been asked to self-isolate.

You will need to wear a face covering in all vaccination centres.

People aged 39 and under and all pregnant women will be offered the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine as their first dose. If you’ve already had the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine for your 1st dose and did not have any serious side effects, you should have it again for your 2nd dose.

Adults aged 18 years and over can attend any walk-in clinic. 16 and 17 year olds can be vaccinated at many walk-in clinics but not all of them – this information is shown with the clinic details.

At all vaccine clinics you will be able to have a private consultation with a trusted, healthcare professional. You can discuss with them any concerns you have about the vaccine, its safety or whether it is suitable for you and your individual circumstances. You are not under any obligation to be vaccinated following this conversation if you would prefer not to
